Deep Silver has announced that the next installment in the Sacred series, Sacred 3. Although we don’t have an exact release date, the game is confirmed to be releasing on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC this summer.
Sacred 3 promises to follow in the foot steps of the previous games in the series by offering a hack and slash adventure, and 2-4 player co-operative modes.
Remy van Leeuwen, Brand Manager of Deep Silver had the following to say regarding the announcement:
“The paramount development goal for Sacred 3 has been to create a seamless online and offline co-op experience. By creating a game built around the central concept of co-op gameplay, we’re expanding the series to new audiences without compromising the rich lore and fantasy of the Sacred universe.”
In addition, the game will feature returning characters such as Seraphim, Ancarian, Khukuhru and the Safiri, not to mention a new character, Malakhim.
