Saros Delayed to April 30th, 2026, New Trailer Introduces More Characters

The Standard and Deluxe Editions are available to pre-order, with the latter offering 48 hours of early access and three armor sets.

Housemarque (and actor Rahul Kohli) presented a new trailer for its upcoming bullet-hell rogue-lite, Saros, introducing several new characters players will encounter on Carcosa. However, it also revealed that the title has been delayed to April 30th, 2026.

Pre-orders are also now available with the Standard Edition costing $69.99. If you pick up the Digital Deluxe Edition for $79.99, you’ll receive three armor sets – the Onryo Armor, Astra Armor and Midgard Armor – for free alongside 48 hours of early access. And yes, you’re not the only one to notice that two of those armor sets tie into other PlayStation Studios franchises.

Saros launches exclusively for PS5. As a spiritual successor to Returnal, it features a rogue-lite gameplay loop where players traverse the same environments again and again, searching for a way to escape Carcosa. Despite being developed in Unreal Engine 5, you can look forward to the same “tentacle technology” that Housemarque uses for its monstrosities.
