Silent Hill: Ascension’s Opening Scene Has Leaked

The scene was debuted recently at San Diego Comic-Con, a low-quality off-screen recording of which has now emerged online.

Silent Hill: Ascension is definitely the most experimental part of Konami’s revival efforts for the Silent Hill franchise. As streaming series built around community choices, it might not be attracting the sort of hype that the likes of Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake or Silent Hill f might, but the details that have been revealed for it so far have certainly turned a few heads.

Recently at San Diego Comic-Con, Konami and Genvid Entertainment offered a sneak peak at the series, showcasing its opening scene, and though the scene hasn’t yet been officially released for all to see, off-screen capture footage of it has leaked online. You can check it out through here, courtesy of @ResiEvilCentral on Twitter, but keep in mind that the image quality is quite poor, to say the very least. The scene showcases two characters participating in a ritual that goes horribly wrong.

Silent Hill: Ascension is set to premiere sometime later this year. Genvid Entertainment recently revealed new details on the series in behind-the-scenes video- check it out through here.
