Silent Hill: Ascension Will be a Real-Time Horror Series Where Viewers Can Affect the Outcome, Live in 2023

Konami has announced a new live horror series that will take place in Silent Hill. Dubbed Silent Hill: Ascension, viewers can help affect the outcome of the story.

Konami has announced a new Silent Hill experience during its Silent Hill Transmission. Titled Silent Hill: Ascension, the experience is being made by Genvid, Bad Robot Games, Behaviour, and DJ2 Entertainment, and is set to go live in 2023. Check out the trailer below.

Alongside the trailer, the Silent Hill Transmission also revealed additional details about Silent Hill: Ascension. Genvid CEO Jacob Navok explains that Silent Hill: Ascension will be a social experience that will take place on a massive scale.

Silent Hill: Ascension will be a live, real-time interactive horror series. Those who watch it can also help in changing the outcome of the story, and even be a part of some of the scenes in the series.

“There is no reset button,” says Navok. “The decisions you make will mean life or death in the story.”

Silent Hill: Ascension was only one of the things unveiled during Konami’s Silent Hill Transmission. Other announcements include a remake of Silent Hill 2, a new mainline entry in the franchise titled Silent Hill f, and Silent Hill: Townfall.
