Full Circle’s skate., the long-requested sequel in Electronic Arts’ Skate series, hasn’t received much new information lately. A playtest reportedly took place in April with pre-alpha gameplay footage leaking online but despite EA CEO Andrew Wilson proclaiming its release “soon,” there’s been few official details. That could change next month.
In a new report on TryHardGuides, sources told insider Tom Henderson that skate. could be revealed in July. It’s reportedly undergone “extensive playtesting” in the past few months and is “much further along in development” than initially believed (which echoes a similar report from March). The pre-alpha gameplay was assumed to have been recent when it leaked in April. However, Henderson’s sources suggest that it was “likely months old” by that point.
Of course, what Electronic Arts could showcase (and when) in July remains to be seen. We may see official gameplay while various content creators and journalists will allegedly go hands-on with the title. As for a release window and platforms (aside from PC), stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
