Developer Full Circle has been fairly coy on details for skate., the follow-up to Electronic Arts’ popular Skate series. However, development seems to be proceeding well. Insider Tom Henderson recently asked on Twitter about those who got into a playtest that’s taking place this week.
Previously, Henderson noted that the title is “much further along in development than people might have believed” and “well into its internal QA phase.” If it’s in a playable enough state that Full Circle is confident about bringing in external playtesters, then we may hear some news soon.
skate. is currently confirmed for PC. In EA’s Q3 FY2021 earnings call, CEO Andrew Wilson said user-created content would be at the “very center” of its design and that the game would be launching “soon.” Who knows? It may go into early access or open beta in the coming months to accrue even more feedback.
Henderson also asked about those who got invited to “*that* Ubisoft game this week” before noting that there are “at least 4 Ubisoft games in Playtesting this week.” This tracks with the recent announcement of Ubisoft Massive needing playtesters for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.

Looks like there are at least 4 Ubisoft games in Playtesting this week.
It's going to be a busy week I think.
