As with every AAA game, we first do an initial test followed by full blown tech analysis. After Murdered: Soul Suspect, we now take a look at 505 Games and Rebellion Oxford’s Sniper Elite 3. As usual we have compared the same scene across the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. Since this is an initial test we have not considered the last gen and PC versions, and their analysis will be included in our full article next week.
For now, the Xbox One version seems to be suffering from screen tearing, specially when bullet cam kicks in. Screen tearing is almost non-existent in the PS4 version of the game. On the brighter side, the Xbox One version has sharper colors, something we have seen in previous games as well and on the other hand, the PS4 version has better contrast.
Sniper Elite 3 is now available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. On a related note, you can watch the full video walkthrough of the game over here. Stay tuned for our full analysis next week.
