Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Delayed Again, Now Releasing in March

This marks the third time the game has been delayed in the past six months.

City Interactive has confirmed that their upcoming Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 will be delayed by another two months to release on March 12th 2013. This, after the title has been delayed from August 2012 to October 2012, and then to January 2013 before the developer stated that it would be releasing somewhere in the first quarter of 2013.

Namco Bandai spoke to VideoGamer and confirmed that “polish is key to the title’s success” in regards to the game’s previous delay. Considering how buggy the original was, we can’t blame the developer for wanting to be extra careful this time around. But now it’s getting ridiculous.

Regardless, what’s done is done. Now, if Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 really does release in March, it’ll be going up against quite a number of heavyweights across all platforms. Hopefully there’s a plan for the title when it gets lost in the inevitable shuffle.
