Sonic Frontiers is out next month and looks to be a step up in terms of scale. It will take roughly 20 to 30 hours to finish the game, though director Morio Kishimoto says it can take double that time for completionists. One thing is for sure, though – this may be the largest soundtrack for a Sonic game yet at 150 tracks.
The soundtrack is titled “Stillness and Motion” with SEGA and Sonic series sound director Tomoya Ohtani announcing, “All 150 tracks will be released for streaming worldwide! A full list will be available after the game is released. Stay tuned for more! I can’t wait for the release!”
We’ve heard a few background tracks for areas like Kronos Island. There have also been vocal tracks like ONE OK ROCK’s “Vandalize” and “I’m Here” by To Octavia’s Merry Kirk-Holmes, Takahito Eguchi, MEG, and Muroya Strings. Of course, areas like the Sky Sanctuary Cyber Space level also have vocal tracks, so the full soundtrack should be a treat for series fans.
Sonic Frontiers is out on November 8th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Check out the minimum and recommended requirements for the PC version here.
