Splatoon 3 Holds on to Top Spot in Weekly UK Retail Charts

Meanwhile, Horizon Forbidden West is still in second place, while PS5's The Last of Us Part 1 slips down to the No. 10 spot.

The Gfk has released the latest weekly data for physical software sales in the UK, and Splatoon 3which debuted on top of the UK charts last week, has held on to its position at the top spot. Nintendo’s shooter has got off to stellar start where sales are concerned, having debuted on top of the Japanese charts as well, and selling over 3.45 million units at launch in that region.

Back to the UK charts, the next two positions haven’t seen any changes, with Horizon Forbidden West continuing to enjoy steady sales in second position, and the evergreen Mario Kart 8 Deluxe slotting in behind it at No. 3. The Last of Us Part 1, which was placed fourth last week, has dropped down to No. 10 in this week’s charts.

Most of the game in the top 10 this week are familiar names in these charts, including the likes of Nintendo Switch Sports, Minecraft, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
