Street Fighter 6 Will Let You Add Classic Tracks to Fights Starting May 22nd

Players can use Drive Tickets or Fighter Coins to unlock tracks from Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter 5 and more.

Capcom’s next update for Street Fighter 6 adds its third Outfit Pack and arrives alongside Akuma, the final DLC character in Year 1. However, it will also add new options in the Character BGM Settings for changing the tracks that play during fights. What makes this special is the option to add music from classic Street Fighter games.

Do you want Guile’s classic theme playing on the Air Force Base stage? How about Jazzy NYC’ 99 from Street Fighter 3: Third Strike? Music from Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter 5, Street Fighter Alpha 2 and much more are included and can be acquired with Drive Tickets or Fighter Coins.

The update goes live on May 22nd, and in addition to Akuma as a playable character, the entire roster will receive balance changes. You can also become the Satsui no Hado master’s student in World Tour mode. Head here for more details on Akuma and his moveset.

Street Fighter 6 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4 and PC. Check out our review here.
