Street Fighter 6 Showcase Announced for April 20

The showcase will be hosted by Lil Wayne have a runtime of over 30 minutes, with Capcom also promising "some big news at the end of the show."

2023 has started strong, and in the next few months, it looks like it’s only going to get stronger. Even with a release schedule as packed as the one we’re looking at in the coming months though, one game that stands head and shoulders above most others is Street Fighter 6– and soon, Capcom will be offering an extensive new showing of the highly anticipated fighter.

Street Fighter 6 Showcase has been set for next week, April 20, at 3 PM PT. The show, interestingly enough, will be hosted by Lil Wayne, and according to the livestream’s description on YouTube, will have a runtime of over 30 minutes.

New details will be offered on the game’s three main modes – World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub – while Capcom is also promising “some big news at the end of the show.” Recently, it was claimed that Street Fighter 6 would be getting an open beta at the end of this month– if that’s true, it’s likely to be announced at the showcase.

Street Fighter 6 is due out on June 2 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PC.
