Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League became available in New Zealand little over an hour ago thanks to its early access launch for Deluxe Edition owners, but the looter shooter hasn’t got off to the best start. Already, developer Rocksteady Studios has had to take down servers to perform necessary maintenance.
Taking to Twitter, the developer confirmed that some players were experiencing a bug that shows full story completion when first logging into the game. As Rocksteady looks into the issue, servers for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be offline “for several hours”, rendering the game unplayable until they’re back up.
Many will (understandably) point out that this wouldn’t have been an issue if the game had an offline mode. While one is thankfully in the works, there’s no word on when it will be available beyond a 2024 window.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is going live for Deluxe Edition owners everywhere in the world on January 30, at midnight local time. It will launch globally for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on February 2.
