System Shock Remake Looks All Kinds of Creepy in New Trailer

Nightdive Studios' horror shooter remake System Shock is due out later this year for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC as a cross-gen title.

Nightdive Studios promised it’d have something new to share at the PC Gaming Show 2022, and as many predicted, that turned out to be a new trailer for the studio’s ground-up remake of beloved horror shooter System Shock. Check it out below.

It’s looking all kinds of creepy, in just the right ways. The trailer shows off glimpses of combat and the environments of the space station, while everyone’s favourite horrifying AI SHODAN is also front and center in the trailer. Check it out below.

Interestingly, the trailer is also followed by a brief interview with Warren Spector, legendary game designer and creator and director of the original System Shock. Spector is not involved in the remake’s development, though he does have a new game in the works at OtherSide Interactive (though System Shock 3 seems like dead project at this point).

System Shock’s remake is supposedly in the final stages of its development and is due out sometime this year for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
