The company has confirmed that players will be able to check their previous stats after servers go down until January 2027.

Nintendo has announced that its long-running mobile spin-off of Mario Kart – Mario Kart Tour – is reaching end-of-service on September 30th. The company announced this through messages in the game, as caught by ResetEra user ZeoVGM, where it also confirmed that there are no plans for an offline version of the game.

“We sincerely thank the many players who have loved and supported the game since service began so long ago,” wrote the company.

Leading up to Mario Kart Tour’s servers going offline, Nintendo will be holding a few special events with their own rewards. Log-In Bonus rewards will give players access to High-End Level-Boost Tickets, High-End points-cap tickets, and rubies. Players can also take on new event challenges to get rewards like golden pipes by completing challenge cards. The in-game store’s prices will be adjusted, giving players access to a variety of cosmetic options in the Mii Racing Suit Shop.

Despite servers going down, Nintendo has confirmed that players will be able to view the stats for their past tours until January 13th, 2027. All-Cup Rankings will also remain visible until September 2027.

Mario Kart Tour was launched on Android and iOS back in 2019. Developed by mobile game maker DeNA, the title was released with only single-player content, with multiplayer coming in the following year. The multiplayer update brought in a host of game modes, allowing players to partake in Standard and Gold races over the Internet, or even challenge friends or other players nearby through local networks.

The title was immensely popular when it first came out, with Nintendo confirming that it had been downloaded more than 90 million times shortly after launch. This was considered a major success in light of other Nintendo mobile titles, like Super Mario Run, which had only been downloaded 13 million times in its launch week. In the same time frame, Mario Kart Tour had made $12.7 million.

While Mario Kart Tour didn’t leave behind much of a legacy, especially when compared to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, some of the title’s original race tracks did eventually make their way into the Nintendo Switch game through DLC.

Released in 2023, this DLC brought in 48 tracks in total, spread out into six distinct releases with eight tracks each. While many of the tracks were from classic Mario Kart games like Coconut Mall from Mario Kart Wii or Choco Mountain from Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Tour’s contribution included Tokyo Blur and Merry Mountain.

Nintendo’s desire to move on from Mario Kart Tour shouldn’t come as a surprise, since the company had stopped making any new content for the game back in 2023. This means that, since then, there have been no new tracks, karts, gliders, or drivers released for the title. Even last year’s release of Mario Kart World didn’t prompt any major update for the mobile game.

In the meantime, Nintendo is fully focused on Mario Kart World, which it reported back in February had sold more than 14 million copies. The title is available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2.

"We look forward to celebrating this community and any future milestones in this new year," The Pokemon Company says.

Since releasing late last year, Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket has been nothing short of a revelation, and it is still refusing to slow down.

Taking to Twitter, The Pokemon Company recently announced that Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket has now crossed 100 million worldwide downloads. As of December, that number stood at 60 million, which means the app has maintained impressive momentum with an additional 40 million downloads in a little over two months.

In November, shortly following its release, it was reported that Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket had raked in over $120 million in revenue in under a month. Read more on that through here.

As ever, there’s plenty going on in the world of Pokemon even outside TCG Pocket. The Pokemon Company and Nintendo recently debuted gameplay footage for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, which is due out later this year. Pokemon Champions was also announced for iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch.

The trading card game app continues to attract a massive audience having crossed another major milestone.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket looked like a guaranteed hit in the lead-up to its release, and since coming out in October, sure enough, it has attracted a sizeable audience- and it’s only continued to grow bigger.
The Pokemon Company has announced that Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket has now surpassed 60 million downloads worldwide since launching less than two months ago in late October. That’s up from 30 million downloads as of a little over a month ago, so clearly, the app is maintaining impressive momentum.

In November, it was also reported that Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket had brought in over $120 million in revenue within a little over a two weeks of its release.
A paid version of the title replaces its previous release, while a new feature also allows players to import custom designs from New Horizons.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp closed its services last week, but those who want to continue enjoying the series’ mobile outing will still have the option to do that. Though the free-to-play title is no longer available in its original form, as previously announced, Nintendo has released a paid version to replace the outgoing free one in the form of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete.

Pocket Camp Complete is the same version of the game, only now in paid form. It no longer features any microtransactions, which means every single one of the thousands of items available in-game are now earned through gameplay alone. The game’s re-release also brings some new features, such as trading with and visiting other players with your Camper Card.

Pocket Camp Complete now also allows players to import custom designs for items made in the Switch’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Make your designs in the Switch title, then import them into the mobile title to use as you see fit. Check out the tutorial video below for more details.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is available on iOS and Android for $9.99 until January 31, following which it will be priced at $19.99.

The app is reportedly earning $6.4 million in revenue every day on average, and took just 17 days to cross the $100 million mark.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket has attracted players in large numbers since its recent launch, and seen revenues to match. In fact, less than a month on from release, the app is only continuing to gather increasing momentum, as per a report published by Pocketgamer.biz.

Citing AppMagic estimates, the report claims Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s total earnings since release stand at $120.8 million as of November 17. It raked in $35.8 million in its first week and $48.5 million the next, and crossed the $100 million total revenue mark on November 15, less than three weeks from release. As per a prior report, in its first four days, Pokemon TCG Pocket brought in $12.1 million in revenue.

November 15 was also the day that the app saw its highest daily earnings so far at $8.4 million. On average, its daily earnings stand at $6.4 million, which is significantly higher than what even the evergreen Pokemon GO currently sees. Its total revenue 19 days in, however, is a little under $20 million lower than what Pokemon GO brought in in the same period after its release in 2016.

As per the report, Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s largest audience is in Japan, accounting for $50.6 million of its revenue so far, which is a 42 percent share. The United States follows in second place, having spent over $33 million on the app so far.

Within 48 hours of Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s launch for iOS and Android, The Pokemon Company announced that it had surpassed 10 million downloads. Less than a week later, it was announced it had topped 30 million downloads.

Pokemon's newest mobile app is continuing to make big waves, with The Pokemon Company announcing a total of 30 million downloads just a little over a week after launch.

There was very little chance that a well-made mobile app based on the Pokemon TCG would not do well, and sure enough, since its launch a little over a week ago, Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket has continued to make huge ways and is attracting players in massive numbers.

Taking to Twitter, The Pokemon Company has announced that Pokemon Trading Card Gaming Pocket has now surpassed 30 million downloads worldwide across iOS and Android. Less than a week ago, the company had reported over 10 million downloads for the app in its first 48 hours, so clearly, it has maintained impressive momentum and kept on attracting players in droves.

As you would expect, reported numbers have suggested that the app is generation revenue on an impressive scale as well. In fact, it is estimated to have generated $12.1 million in revenue in its first four days, with its daily revenue being three times higher than even Pokemon GO.
The recently released app is reportedly earning $3 million in revenue every day, which is thrice as much as even the uber-successful Pokemon GO.

The Pokemon franchise has enjoyed plenty of success on mobile devices over the course of the last decade or so, to say the very least, and though Pokemon GO has been primarily responsible for that, The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have released several additional Pokemon games and apps for mobile in the years since then, generally enjoying varying degrees of success. Now, the latest Pokemon offering on mobile platforms also seems to have got off to quite an impressive start.

The Pokemon Company recently announced that Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket had surpassed 10 million downloads within just 48 hours of its launch last week. Now, Mobilegamer.biz has reported that, as per Appmagic estimates, Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket has earned $12.1 million in revenue within its first four days. That means the app has averaged revenues of $3 million per day, which is three times higher than Pokemon GO’s daily revenues of $1 million.

As per the report, Japan accounts for 45 percent of the game’s earnings, with the US following behind with a 25 percent share, and Hong Kong and Taiwan next in line at 4 percent each. Where platforms are concerned, iOS seems to be the dominant one by far, with $10.5 million of the $12.1 million in earnings so far having come from iOS devices.

How long the app is able to maintain this early momentum remains to be seen, but it’s safe to say that Nintendo and The Pokemon Company will be ecstatic with how it has started either way.

The app has seen over 10 million downloads within 48 hours of its launch, The Pokemon Company has revealed.

The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have enjoyed a fair bit of success with Pokemon’s many mobile outings so far, with the likes of Pokemon GO, Pokemon Sleep, Pokemon Unite, and others having attracted sizeable audiences to varying degrees. Now, unsurprisingly, the IP’s latest mobile effort also seems to have got off to a quick start.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket launched for iOS and Android devices earlier this week, and taking to Twitter, The Pokemon Company has revealed that the app has already surpassed 10 million downloads worldwide, within just 48 hours of its release.

Given the massive popularity of the actual Pokemon TCG, it doesn’t come as a huge surprise that demand for a mobile version of the same is this high, though it should be interesting to see how it performs over the coming weeks and months. We would not be surprised, however, to see that figure continuing to rise at an impressive pace in the time ahead.

The paid version will launch at a discount price of $9.99. Current users can transfer their save data until June 2nd, 2025.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is shutting down on November 29th, but it’s not the end for iOS and Android players. After announcing an offline version, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, Nintendo has confirmed its launch for December 2nd. Check out the extensive overview video below.

It will be available for $9.99, but after January 31st, 2025, the price will increase to $19.99. The offline version doesn’t have microtransactions, and players can access all of the content, including event items, through gameplay. With over 10,000 items to unlock, new players may have a field day.

Some new elements include the Camper Card, used for trading, collecting, and even visits from other players. Players can also earn Complete Tickets and exchange them for limited edition items or fortune cookies. Longtime players should note that save data from the current version can be transferred to the offline game until June 2nd, 2025.

While Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is playable offline, it will require a connection to download data and check the time. Nintendo advises against changing the latter since it could mess with events. Furthermore, deleting the app from your phone also deletes save data, so think twice before doing so.
