The year is fresh and new once again, and it’s time for new games, and there are so many different services nowadays for all the players out there. One of those is PlayStation Now, Sony’s original streaming service that can sometimes go a bit under the radar. But there’s lots of titles there, and today we have three more.

The Crew 2, Ubisoft’s acclaimed racing title, is the headline game as you race against land, air and sea with a variety of vehicles from cars to bikes to boats. Next up is Surviving Mars, where you must build a sustainable and comfortable colonization on the red planet. On the opposite end is Frostpunk: Console Edition, where it’s not about comfort but surviving the extreme cool and try to maintain a steam-fueled city among a narrative of corruption.

The Crew 2, Surviving Mars and Frostpunk: Console Edition are available now on PS Now. You can read the full details through here.

After GTA 5, Game Pass is getting a few more big releases for this month.

Microsoft has announced some new titles for Xbox Game Pass subscribers this month. On January 9th, it’s 11 bit Studios’ Frostpunk: Console Edition and Bandai Namco’s Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet. On January 16th, vaunted fighting game Tekken 7 joins the roster.

It’s a pretty solid line-up, especially with Grand Theft Auto 5 having been added to the service earlier this month. Frostpunk: Console Edition includes, along with the base game, a solid amount of free content like Endless Mode, new maps, The Fall of Winterhome, and more. Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is a solid hack and slash game for those that care about the anime.

Tekken 7, meanwhile, offers a meaty fighting game with numerous characters, a campy story mode, and Treasure Battle for unlocking cosmetic rewards. Though it doesn’t seem to have all of the Season Pass content, it’s still a great fighting game.

Xbox Game Pass costs $9.99 per month on consoles – stay tuned for more detail on what titles are coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions will contain all updates released till now for PC.

11 bit Studios city-builder/survival title Frostpunk is coming to Xbox One and PS4 on October 11th. Originally released for PC in April 2018, the title tasks players with creating a society in a frozen world, making tough decisions to survive against mounting hazards. Check out the announcement trailer below.

The console versions will have revised controls, which should help in the absence of a mouse and keyboard. Along with the base game, Frostpunk: Console Edition will include all the free updates released till date for PC. Endless Mode, The Fall of Winterhome scenario and Survivor Mode have made it in, allowing for more customizable experience.

Frostpunk has done fairly well for the developer, selling 1.4 million units in its first year. The developer is currently working on its next project, which will likely release in 2021. Stay tuned for more details in the future (and expect it to be less grim than the studio’s past efforts).
