On November 18th, Exo One, Fae Tactics, My Friend Pedro and Undungeon arrive for cloud, consoles and PC while Deeeer Simulator and Mortal Shell debut for all three platforms on November 23rd. Evil Genius 2: World Domination closes out the month, releasing on November 30th for cloud, consoles and PC.

Of course, a number of titles will also be leaving on November 30th, both on Xbox Game Pass and EA Play so subscribers are advised to play them now while they can. Said titles include:

A masked man, with a talking, floating banana as his best friend, spins through the air in ballet-like motions, shooting up bad guys left and right as he fights for his life. If you don’t know what I’m talking about there, you very well may have missed out on one of the best games of last year. And that game could be coming to PS4 soon.

My Friend Pedro originally released in June 2019 for Switch and PC, as well as Xbox One and Game Pass in December of the same year. The Pan European Game Information (PEGI) board recently also rated it for the PS4, indicating the game could also be making its way there relatively soon.

My Friend Pedro was a major success for Devolver Digital and developers DeadToas Entertainment, already selling half a million copies sold by October of last year. The game is available now for Xbox One, Switch, and PC, and hopefully soon on PS4 soon.

Super Mario Party

The infamous ruiner of friendships debuts for the Nintendo Switch. Super Mario Party takes the more traditional approach to the series’ formula, introducing new mini-games, some with motion controls, and a new mode called Partner Party where teams of two can work together. There’s even a mode called Toad’s Rec Room where multiple Switches can be combined for gameplay across multiple screens. Super Mario Party captures the amazing feeling of losing to never-ending nonsense, which may or may not be your definition of a good time.

Xbox Game Pass’ already impressive catalog of games is going to become much more exciting, considering the bevy of games in line to join the service. The first of those games, which will be coming to Game Pass over the next few days, have been confirmed by Microsoft.

On December 5, side-scrolling action shooter My Friend Pedro and Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker will join Game Pass. The next day, pinball title Demon’s Tilt and musical adventure game Wandersong will be added to the catalog. Finally, December 12 will see the release of eFootball PES 2020, Overcooked! 2, The Division (the first one), and Pathalogic 2.

That’s a pretty solid selection of games. PES 2020 is a pretty recent release too, so anyone who’s been on the fence about giving it a go now has a good reason to. Meanwhile, My Friend Pedro and Pathalogic 2 are both great games, while Overcooked! 2 is excellent if you have someone to play with.

Of course, yesterday, we also saw the release of Halo: Reach via The Master Chief Collection, which is available through Game Pass as well.

DeadToast Entertainment’s awesome 2D side-scrolling shooter My Friend Pedro has done pretty well for itself. According to publisher Devolver Digital on its blog, “nearly half a million” people have bought the game. The developer has also added the Code Yellow Update for free while the game goes on sale for Steam.

The Code Yellow Update should provide plenty of reason to jump back in. It introduces 14 different modifiers including a cinematic camera mode, adjustable player speed, hiding the HUD, a timer and much more. You can even turn off checkpoints, make enemies (or the protagonist) susceptible to one-hit kills and more.

The modifiers can be found throughout the story so first time players will need to go through it regardless. While short, My Friend Pedro offers a fun action-packed experience with its own surreal brand of humor. Check out the trailer below for more details on the Code Yellow Update. My Friend Pedro is a game about an assassin and his best friend, a talking, floating banana, in a bloody mystery. And it’s pretty great. The unique shooter was a big hit for Devolver Digital, being one of their fastest-selling games ever when it hit earlier in the year. If you were waiting for a physical release, or just want another go at the game, the time is now.

The publisher announced that a physical copy of the game would be coming in November. It will come only for the Switch version (sorry PC players) and will include stickers, a reversible cover, a poster based on the game’s art and a download code for the game’s soundtrack. It’ll retail for $29.99 USD. It’s quite the little package, but unfortunately, there is no banana.

My Friend Pedro is available now digitally for Switch and PC. The Switch physical edition will be available on November 12th.

My Friend Pedro is a story about a man on a bloody killing spree trying to find out why he’s got a bounty on his head alongside his trusty talking banana, and it seems to be doing pretty well for itself. The game only launched on two platforms last week, but the game’s publisher announced that it already sold very well.

Announced via publisher Devolver Digital’s official Twitter, the game has sold over 250,000 units already just a week after release. Considering that’s only split between two platforms, that’s a big hit for a smaller indie title like this. It’s a fun romp, too, so well deserved.

In celebration, they also released a “Behind the Schemes” video that breaks down the game’s development as well as features nunchucks for whatever reason. You can see a link to the video in the Twitter post below.

Another violent side-scroller from Devolver Digital is out now with DeadToast Entertainment’s My Friend Pedro. There are a few key differences though – for one, it’s in 2.5D and features an assassin cutting down all that stand in his way at the behest of a talking banana. My Friend Pedro’s stylish combat is made possible by allowing players to control their weapons and body at the same time. So it’s possible to twist through the air in a ballet-like fashion while shooting up foes. Ricochet shots, bullet-time and much more help keep the action tense.

There’s a bit of puzzle-solving as well but My Friend Pedro is pretty much all violence, all the time. It even has a GIF generator to let you share some stylish kills immediately with your friends. The title is out now for Nintendo Switch and PC with a 15 percent pre-purchase discount on Steam till tomorrow.

There’s not too much story to follow as you follow the orders of a banana. Blitz your way through the criminal underworld using slow-motion and the ability to control your weapons and body separately. This makes it possible to twirl and go airborne while taking out gangsters left and right.

Devolver Digital will be publishing the title, which makes sense given all the stylish violence happening. The publisher will be returning to E3 2019 on June 9th with a “press conference” set for 7 PM PT. Given all the violence, mayhem and general insanity that’s taken place in past pressers, expect that – along with some neat game announcements – this year as well. We might even find out the status of Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass.

Among the many indie titles featured during the recent Nindies Showcase were two games published by Devolver Digital. These are askiisoft’s Katana ZERO and Deadtoast’s My Friend Pedro, both which are confirmed for Nintendo Switch releases. More importantly, they also received a release date and release window respectively.

Katana ZERO is a side-scrolling action title where players can slow down time and annihilate foes quickly. It’s stylish and very fast-paced, though it carries the same “one hit death” mechanic that defines titles like Mark of the Ninja. It’s out for Switch and PC on April 18th.

My Friend Pedro was introduced to us at E3 last year, and immediately made an impact with its stylish side-scrolling gunplay. In an interesting twist, it will be coming to Nintendo Switch along with PC in June. Check out the latest trailers for both games below.
