Even after adding 20 Bethesda titles to the service, Microsoft has even more games coming to Xbox Game Pass. It announced that Empire of Sin would be available for Xbox consoles, PC and Android devices via the cloud on Mach 18th along with NieR: Automata and Torchlight 3 on PC and Star Wars: Squadrons on consoles.

Next week is even more interesting as Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler arrives for Xbox consoles and PC on March 25th. This will mark the RPG’s debut on Xbox One after previously releasing for Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia and PC over the years. Galactic-scale adventure title Genesis Noir will also be available on console and PC along with Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition and Supraland for PC on the same day.

But that’s not all as Sega’s Yakuza 6: The Song of Life also comes to Xbox, PC and cloud on March 25th, followed by pixel platformer Narita Boy on March 30th for the same. As announced yesterday, next month’s Game Pass offerings begins with People Can Fly’s Outriders coming to Xbox and cloud (but not PC) on April 1st. As the sequel to Nier Replicant/Gestalt, NieR: Automata takes place in the future where the Earth has been reduced to ruins by aliens with their robot armies. The remains of humanity reside on the Moon and have formed YoRHa, fighting back with android units. Players control 2B, 9S and A2 throughout the campaign, assessing the robots’ wishes while also discovering their own.

NieR: Automata has been a fairly massive success for Square Enix, recently crossing 4.5 million in worldwide shipments and digital sales. Fans will be getting more in the coming days – NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139, a “version up” of the original, has been announced for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. There will also be a mobile title, NieR Re[in]carnation, for iOS and Android.

After announcing over 4.5 million in worldwide shipments and digital sales for NieR: Automata, Square Enix has confirmed that it will be available on Xbox Game Pass. NieR: Automata Become as Gods Edition will be available on April 2nd for Xbox Game Pass for console. Given that a subscription costs only $9.99 per month, that’s a pretty good deal (especially when stacked up with other offerings this month).

NieR: Automata Become as Gods Edition includes the base game along with its 3C3C1D119440927 DLC. The latter includes three Nier Replicant-style outfits for 2B, 9S and A2 along with three new sub-quests taking place in the arena. This is where players can battle against waves of enemies including some hidden bosses.

Players also gain access to cosmetic content like the Machine Mask Accessory, various pod skins and a Grimoire Weiss Pod. Check out our review of NieR: Automata here to see how the base game fares.
