The Blood of Dawnwalker Event Will Reveal New Gameplay, Release Date, and More on April 28th

The 45-minute event will showcase open-world threats, a new story trailer, and even system requirements for PC players.

After a level of teasing that dates back to early January, Rebel Wolves has announced a “Road to Launch” event for its upcoming open-world action RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker. Set for April 28th at 8 AM PT, it will run for a whopping 45 minutes and finally reveal the release date.

But that’s only the start, as it also features new open-world gameplay (including what seems to be a flying foe), insights from the team on the latter and its storytelling elements, a story trailer, the system requirements, and much more. It’s an absolutely jam-packed affair and should offer the most definitive look at the title.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is in development for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, and will launch this year. Recently, studio CEO and creative lead Konrad Tomaszkiewicz confirmed playing it from start to finish on PS5, and it’s going for certification. He also asserted the lack of generative AI content, though the team does have a “system” for scoping out potential quest blockers.

Stay tuned for more updates and check out the last big gameplay reveal, which showcased the various approaches that protagonist Coen can take. Alternatively, you can learn more about the notoriety system and how the world will naturally push back as you create more trouble for the vampire overlords.
