Check out how the Snowdrop Engine handles day and night settings.

Ubisoft Massive issued a statement today in which it assured fans that Tom Clancy’s The Division wouldn’t be a port for PC, with the PC version being a fully optimized experience.

In a blog post, the dev stated that, “As you know, Massive has its roots in PC development. We are working hard and we want to make sure that we have a very high quality experience on PC. You can be sure that our PC version won’t be a port, but a full-fledged, optimized version! We want to create the best game possible regardless of what platform you play on.” The Division will also be arriving for PS4 and Xbox One in late 2014.

The developer also released some new screenshots to show off the power of the Snowdrop Engine and how it handles day/night cycles. Check them out below.
