The Division PC Graphics Not Close To E3 2013 Reveal, Still Good Enough – Report

"Hardcore PC guys" working on the PC version.

Many hardcore fans of Tom Clancy’s The Division (yes, they exist) have lamented the game’s visuals, even though most footage we’ve seen over the past week has been from the Xbox One. When it comes to the MMO, there’s no denying the existence of a downgrade of sorts but what about the PC version? With such heavy requirements, it surely has to deliver on the visuals.

Based on a new video from Jackfrags, who tried out the PC version for 15 minutes, it seems that the graphics look pretty good. Textures are especially better, even if the visual quality isn’t as good as the trailers Ubisoft released before. Apparently the team behind the PC port are hardcore PC guys, which would explain the extensive PC graphical options leaked recently. Regardless, those worried about The Division‘s visual fidelity might want to look into the PC version for their fix.

Tom Clancy’s The Division will experience its closed beta on January 28th for Xbox One and January 29th for PS4 and PC. The full release will be on March 8th so stay tuned for more information in the meantime.
