Though Ubisoft announced that The Division’s Public Test Server on PC (used to test the upcoming update 1.4) would be ending after the third week, that’s not necessarily the case. It was later revealed that there would be a fourth week for the PTS though it will last until Monday, October 17th.
Patch notes have also been released for upcoming changes. As it turns out, enemy NPC damage was reduced by 30 percent instead of 15 percent. Damage is now reduced to 15 percent, resulting in a 21 percent increase compared to the third week of the PTS. It also seems that Elite and Named NPC Armour will move back up to the values in week two. That means an increase of 20 percent armour for week four.
Another concern has been the potency of Health on Kill perks, especially for the Path of the Nomad gear set which provides 20 percent Health on Kill with its 2 piece bonus. This will be reduced to 14 percent and Health on Kill stats for other pieces of gear will be cut in half. It’s definitely worth checking out the full patch notes here.
Massive is still aiming for an October release so we’ll see how things pan out later this month. What are your thoughts on update 1.4 for The Division? Let us know in the comments.
