Ubisoft Massive’s next big update and second paid DLC for Tom Clancy’s The Division finally has a release date – they’ll be out on November 22nd. It should be noted that the Survival DLC will be out first for Xbox One and PC.
Survival is just what the name indicates – it turns the entire map of Manhattan into a vicious game for survival as you gather food, water and other resources in order to survive. Weather, starvation and a virus infection are all eating away and you must extract to ultimately win. Survival can be played in PvE or PvP style, the latter allowing for other players to hunt you.
Update 1.5 will be free and adds a new World Tier with a Gear Score increase to 256. Massive noted that, “With Update 1.5, we’re opening up the new World Tier 5, which comes with an increase in enemy level and Gear Score. In this new Tier, the enemies will be level 34 and the new maximum Gear Score for weapons and gear dropped will be 256 (compared to the current level 33 and Gear Score 229 at World Tier 4).”
It will also bring 12 new weapon types, 4 Named Weapons, Named Gear and the Frontline Gear Set which allows you to use an SMG with the Ballistic Shield. What are your thoughts on the upcoming content? Let us know in the comments.
