The Division’s Dark Zone Becomes Very Dangerous for Rogue Agents

Going rogue in the Dark Zone? Be prepared to take on all-comers.

Ubisoft Massive showcased Tom Clancy’s The Division at E3 2015 and revealed what exactly happens when teams enter the Dark Zone. As it turns out, chaos and devastation ensues since you can go rogue and rob other agents (or team up with them if you’re nice) or abandon your team in the process and claim loot for yourself. In a new talk with executive producer Fredrik Rundqvist, it’s revealed that there are consequences to going rogue in the Dark Zone.

First off, once you go rogue, a large indicator will appear over you, indicating your rogue status. This allows players from anywhere in the Dark Zone to spot you and essentially claim whatever loot you have if you don’t extract it in time. Of course, even those who play by the book need to be careful when extracting goods – their signal flares will attract attention from anyone nearby. Regardless, it’s good to see there’s some consequence to going rogue.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is out on March 8th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
