The Last of Us Part 2 Features A Character Played By Rapper Logic

A logical move by Naughty Dog.

Looks like the hotly anticipated Naughty Dog-developed The of Last of Us Part 2 is getting an unexpected guest star. Neil Druckmann, creative director and co-writer of the game (as well as the original The Last of Us), tweeted out a picture that you can see below featuring the rapper called Logic in motion capture gear, with Druckmann saying he had fun “brutalizing” him.

Nothing else is said, so what role Logic will be playing and to what degree his involvement will be is anyone’s guess (a hardcore old school hip hop track about running from Clickers and making morally agonizing narrative choices to close the credits maybe?). Logic has been known to enjoy games himself, and has occasionally posted videos of himself playing in the past – including a playthrough of The Last of Us so it’s probably not as surprising as it seems on paper.

No date has been announced for The Last of Us Part 2 yet, but rumors are swirling that the game will be released on PlayStation 4 sometime this year. With Sony skipping E3 this year, it’s up in the air when we’ll see the game next.
