Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2 received a new gameplay trailer during Sony’s State of Play presentation. While it’s somewhat spoilery due to setting up the core premise, the sheer visual splendor is something to behold. So it should come as no surprise that the game takes up more than one disc.
Reported by Wario64 on Twitter, the full game consists of two discs. That’s fairly hefty – the only other PS4 title taking up two Blu-ray discs is the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
Details and images for the different special editions were also revealed by Sony. As the rumours correctly revealed, there’s the Collector’s Edition, Ellie Edition, Special Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition.
The Collector’s Edition includes a Steelbook, the full game, a 48 page art book, Ellie’s bracelet, a 12 inch statue of Ellie, a five sticker set and lithograph art print. The Ellie Edition has all of that plus Ellie’s backpack and the game’s OST on a 7-inch vinyl. The Special Edition includes the full game, Steelbook and art book while the Digital Deluxe Edition includes the game along with all of the above mentioned digital content. You can check out images of all the various editions the game launches with below.
The Last of Us Part 2 is out on February 21st, 2020 for PlayStation 4. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
