Hexworks revealed quite few new details about The Lords of the Fallen, its upcoming Souls-like action RPG. It revealed the extent of the world, the sheer interconnectivity and how the Umbral works. New screenshots are available, and they showcase even more of the ruined world.
As a Dark Crusader, players embark on a journey to stop the resurrection of Adyr, the demon God. The parallel worlds of the living and dead are massive, about five times larger than the original, with forests, ruins and massive structures (like the rock formations resembling a hand). For all the awe players may feel, there’s plenty of terror, with enemies riding three-headed demons to an almost indescribable horror with excessive teeth.
The Lords of the Fallen is out in 2023 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. It features nine character classes, hundreds of weapons and several spells. Those looking to co-op can experience seamless, uninterrupted online play. Stay tuned for more details, and check out some gameplay here.
