The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt- Loads of Griffins Show Up Naturally In The Game’s World

The open world of The Witcher 3 is a hostile place.

In multiple previews and showings of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, we have seen a griffin pop up as a challenge that must be conquered. As it turns out, it is not just one griffin- there are multiple of them, and they occur naturally in the world for players to take down, similar to how dragons worked in Bethesda’s 2011 RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

“Griffins exist naturally within the world. You might just happen to bump into one when roaming,” CD Projekt RED’s Miles Tost confirmed on Twitter. He also teased the appearance of trolls in the title: “The things we have in store for you troll lovers… this game brings it all the way up to 11.”

Personally, all of this gets me more excited, in little ways, for the kind of organic open world that CD Projekt RED may have crafted for the game, and for what they might have in store for the players. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt finally launches on May 19 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage.
