The Witcher series has sold 4 million copies worldwide, CD Projekt has announced. It’s unclear as to how much The Witcher 2 sold, but it should be in the 2 million range.
“I’m still amazed with the result we have achieved with The Witcher franchise. Many gamers on many platforms have been drawn to the vivid and complex world we have created. In the gaming world summer means a lot of great, hot deals. So if you still don’t own the game look out for both retail and digital special offers,” said Adam Badowski, CD Projekt RED studio’s head.
“The Witcher and The Witcher 2 are great, robust RPGs, that every true gamer should own.”
These games are the crown jewel of the PC platform, and The Witcher 2 doesn’t look too shabby on the Xbox 360.
