The Witcher Twitter Teases Announcement on March 15th

Geralt in SoulCalibur 6? Kaer Morhen a playable stage?

CD Projekt RED community manager Marcin Momot said not too long ago that Geralt, protagonist of The Witcher franchise, could appear in a non-Witcher title that’s releasing later this though. Given its history for including guest fighters from other titles and IPs, many believed that SoulCalibur 6 was the game in question. And if you’re not one for rumours, then the official Witcher Twitter account is teasing something for today.

The tweet talks about Kaer Morhen, the keep that’s seen many Witchers trained over the years. “Kaer Morhen’s old stones have witnessed many battles…Once more they’ll feel the sting of sparks as blades collide…”

This seems to indicate that not only will Geralt be playable but that Kaer Morhen will be a playable stage to fight in. Which we’re fine with, actually. It should be more interesting to see how Geralt’s swordplay fits in with warriors like Kilik, Mitsurugi and Sophitia.

Other characters that have made cameos in SoulCalibur titles through the years include Yoda and Darth Vader from Star Wars (SoulCalibur 4), Kratos from God of War (SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny) and Ezio Auditore from Assassin’s Creed (SoulCalibur 5).
