Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall has already entered beta testing for the Xbox One and PC, and the developer has confirmed that the beta is currently running at 792p resolution. And no, that’s not a standard resolution by any means.
This was confirmed by Community Manager Abbie Hepe who also stated that the resolution will increase as the team gets closer to the final build. She believes that the final resolution could end up being 900p, though this will most likely be up-scaled to 1080p. Earlier, Titanfall was rumoured to run at 720p resolution on the Xbox One.
As of now, the actual beta test will begin on February 14th but many players have already managed to find their way into it. Tons of gameplay footage has released of the game’s modes, including Hardpoint Domination which you can view here.
Titanfall releases for Xbox One and PC on March 18th in North America and March 20th in Europe. The Xbox 360 version, ported by Bluepoint, will be out on March 25th/28th.
