Twelve Minutes Quietly Delayed to 2021

Steam listing for the narrative thriller now has a 2021 release date.

Groundhog Day-esque narrative adventure Twelve Minutes was slated to release this year for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. But publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer Luis Antonio have been fairly quiet on when exactly will arrive. According to the game’s Steam listing, however, Twelve Minutes has been delayed to 2021.

Granted, an official announcement of a delay hasn’t been made. But it wouldn’t be surprising to see it pushed to next year, especially to avoid the hectic next-gen launch window and Fall season. In its last major update, an all-star cast of voice actors was confirmed which includes James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley and Willem Dafoe.

The premise sees a married couple spending the evening together before tragedy strikes. The wife is accused of murder while the husband is killed. However, the latter finds himself reliving the same day, stuck in a time loop and trying to find ways to save his wife – all in the span of 12 minutes. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
