Ubisoft Announces Subscription Service Uplay Plus; Launches September 3 On PC, In 2020 For Stadia

Subscription services are the new motion controls.

It’s not just Ubisoft’s games that keep getting leaked- their subscription services get leaked too. At their E3 2019 show though, Ubisoft formally announced Uplay Plus, their own subscription service, similar to EA Access and Xbox Game Pass.

Uplay Plus will cost $14.99 per month, and will give you access to Ubisoft’s library of games, their expansions, premium DLC, all their new and upcoming releases, and premium editions for all the games. In total, the service is going to launch with over 100 games. As for upcoming titles, these will, of course, include all of Ubisoft’s upcoming titles as well, including the likes of Watch Dogs Legion, Ghost Recon Breakpointand more.

The service launches for PC on September 3, but those who sign up (which you can do here) between now and August 15 will get free access to it from September 3 through September 30. Ubisoft also confirmed that Uplay Plus will be coming to Stadia as well, some time in 2020. Take a look at its announcement trailer below.
