Square Enix has made several attempts to inject life back into the Mana franchise in recent years, with remakes and remasters of Secrets of Mana, Trials of Mana, and Legend of Mana, and clearly, those attempts have been successful enough to warrant a new game. In 2021, the company announced that new instalment was in development, and at The Game Awards, it got its full announcement.
Square Enix has unveiled Visions of Mana, an action RPG that will serve as the first new mainline instalment in the series in a decade and a half.
