Developer Digital Extremes has announced that the next major Warframe expansion, The Duviri Paradox, will be released in April. The announcement comes after the expansion was delayed back in October 2022. Alongside the announcement, Digital Extremes has also released a new cinematic trailer for The Duviri Paradox, showing off the expansion’s time-looing world.
The Duviri Paradox is set to be inspired by the gameplay of the roguelike genre. Players will be able to entire the Void-wrecked unknown to fly across a colour-shifting reality. The villain in the new expansion is set to be a powerful new Child King ruler, Dominus Thrax.
Duviri will be the fourth open world map added to Warframe. The expansion will also feature an upgraded melee combat system, as well as a new Decree system and customisation options. It will feature three game modes: The Circuit, The Duviri Experience, and The Lone Story. Each of the game modes is targeted towards different types of players.
The Circuit is an endless game mode, while The Duviri Experience will be a full open world adventure. The Lone Story, on the other hand, will be a solo experience that focuses on the expansion’s narrative.
