Developer and publisher Digital Extremes has announced that Warframe‘s newest update, The Duviri Paradox, is out now on all platforms. The update, essentially the size of an expansion, introduces a new story-driven campaign that is available for all players to play and is not progression-locked. Check out the new gameplay trailer that goes deeper into the story of The Duviri Paradox below.
The expansion features gameplay inspired by the roguelike genre. Players can enter the Void-wrecked unknown to fly across a colour-shifting reality.
Now that the update is out, players logging into Warframe for the first time will be offered two choices: play through the game’s main path with a Warframe, or play as the Drifter in The Duviri Paradox. Returning players will be able to kick off The Duviri Paradox through a quest available in their codex.
Players will be able to continue their post-Quest journey in Duviri by picking one of three game modes: The Circuit, The Duviri Experience, and The Lone Story. The Circuit is a new Warframe Only endless game mode, The Duviri Experience is a full open-world adventure, and The Lone Story is a solo narrative experience.
