Chucklefish’s Wargroove is finally available for the PlayStation 4 following significant delay. The turn-based strategy title pays homage to Advance Wars and features a number of commanders with their own unique abilities, called Grooves. Check out the launch trailer below.
Wargroove has a meaty campaign to it as players follow Cherrystone’s newly crowned Queen Mercia as she battles the Felheim Legion. However, each of the 15 commanders has their own campaign to play through, showcasing their backstories and goals. On top of all this, players also have access to PvP and co-op multiplayer.
A custom map editor is also available, providing large supply of community maps to enjoy. The PS4 version doesn’t have cross-platform play with the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. However, it can access all community maps available on other platforms as well. Stay tuned for more details and updates on Wargroove in the coming months.
