Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Releases on December 18th for PS4

Closed beta starts today for those who pre-order the Ultimate Edition.

After months of waiting, Fatshark has announced that the PS4 version of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will release on December 18th. The game can be preordered from the PlayStation Store, and has an Ultimate Edition available. Check out the trailer below as well to familiarize yourself with ye olde Chaos and Skaven.

The Ultimate Edition includes instant access to the closed beta, which has already begun, and four days early access to the full-game. Players will also receive two portrait frames for their heroes, a Sigmar Keep statue in-game, Helmgart Heraldry-themed skins, and six exclusive Heroic Deeds.

If that weren’t enough, DLC content like Shadows Over Bögenhafen and the upcoming Back to Übersreik DLC are also included. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has done quite well since the game’s launch on PC and eventually the Xbox One as well, selling one million units, and faster than its predecessor did. Along with new environments and the Heroic Deeds system for tougher challenges, it also adds 15 hero careers for further customization.
