Watch Dogs Free Roam Applies to Entire City, Multiplayer Doesn’t Include Mini-Games

Jonathan Morin talks more about the competitive aspects of Watch Dogs.

Watch Dogs creative director Jonathan Morin continues to answer questions relating to the open world hacking adventure, including clarifications about the free roam aspects and multiplayer.

Morin first started by assuring that the entire city of Chicago was available for Free Roam. Entering into that aspect was also fairly simple. “No lobby. You go in the map, switch to the grid & there you can send a request & play while it process. (3 inputs)”

Regarding multiplayer hacking, if you hacked a player, then there’s a good chance they’ll appear as the same character if they hack your game. This is “If they chose to customize their ‘online appearance for other players'” according to Morin.

He also clarified that there would be no multiplayer support for any of the mini-games in the campaign such as Poker and Chess. Also, try to improve your aiming because in multiplayer, you won’t have slow-mo to help you.

Watch Dogs releases on May 27th for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
