Watch Dogs Legion, Gods And Monsters, And Rainbow Six Quarantine Delayed To Fiscal Year 2020-2021

A day of delays.

It’s been a day of delays already, but now there’s even more major titles being pushed back. Two major Sony exclusives are potentially seeing delays, but now Ubisoft has announced that not one, not two, but three of their major 2020 releases will not be making their original dates.

In a conference call to investors, Ubisoft made the announcement that Gods and Monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine and Watch Dogs Legion will all be pushed back into their next fiscal year. Gods and Monsters was slated to come out in February and Watch Dogs Legion in March. Of the three, only Rainbow Six didn’t have solid date, only said to be releasing at the end of this fiscal year, which will end March 31st, 2020.

The next fiscal year will run from April 2020-March 2021, so it’s possible all of these games will still make a 2020 release, possibly as cross-gen titles for the next generation of consoles. It is quite odd, though. While delays happen, having three high profile delays of this nature at the same time isn’t normal. We’ll have more details as they emerge.
