After spending two games in the United States, with Watch Dogs Legion, Ubisoft will be taking their series across the pond over to a post-Brexit London, a setting that they’ve been speaking about fair bit since the game’s impressive reveal at E3 2019. But a question that many have about Legion’s London – as people often do about open world settings – is how big the map will be.
Well, it seems like it’s going to be a pretty big one. As per PC Gamer, eight boroughs of London will be included in Watch Dogs Legion’s map, which will also include Camden and Westminster. Meanwhile, the game’s creative director Clint Hocking also shared some details about the map with PCGamesN, saying that Watch Dogs Legion’s London will “go from Wellington Arch over in the west, and then over to the Isle of Dogs in the west. Then Camden Market in the north down to Windrush Square, more or less in Brixton.”
That doesn’t confirm the size of the map per se, but it does tell us that the game will be covering plenty of ground. Ubisoft games (Watch Dogs included) do have a knack for featuring very large maps, so here’s hoping Legion will follow suit. It launches on March 6, 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
