Watch Dogs: Legion – Post-Launch Content Includes Co-op, PvP, and Assassin’s Creed Crossover

New Game Plus, new characters, and more are all coming post-launch.

A whole bunch of new Watch Dogs: Legion details have dropped today. Along with the new story trailer, Ubisoft has released a video detailing all of the post-launch content. This includes online modes, free single-player content and Season Pass DLC. Check it all out below.

December 3rd is when Watch Dogs Online kicks off – it brings four player online co-op with dedicated missions, dynamic events and Tactical Ops (a tougher mission that requires strong teamwork). Later, the first PvP mode will be added with Spider-Bot Arena. This sees mechanical Spider-Bots battling it out with support for up to eight players. Invasion is also making a comeback and other PvP modes will be announced in further updates.

For campaign players, there will be new missions, new characters with new abilities (like a hypnotist) and New Game Plus. These will all be free for base game owners. Season Pass owners will receive access to four additional playable characters, starting Aiden Pearce who has his own storyline in Watch Dogs: Legion – Bloodline. Interestingly, Watch Dogs 2’s Wrench also makes an appearance and is playable.

Other characters, who make up the special Hero Characters, include Mina, a transhuman experiment who can mind-control people, and Darcy, a member of the Brotherhood of Assassins. That’s right – modern-day Assassin’s Creed characters are finally crossing over into Watch Dogs. Each Hero Character has their own progression and abilities so it should be interesting to see how they differ from regular folk.

Watch Dogs: Legion is out on October 29th for PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Google Stadia. It arrives on November 10th for Xbox Series X/S and November 12th for PS5.
