When Ubisoft delayed Watch Dogs in October, roughly one month before the launch of the Xbox One and PS4, it served as a fairly big blow for fans who had been waiting for what seemed like forever. The open world action adventure title will be releasing in early 2014 but aside from indications that it could be Spring, Ubisoft hasn’t exactly responded with a release date.
Interestingly, European retailer Shopto has listed Watch Dogs as releasing on March 21st for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and so on. It’s not unlike most retailers to have dates subject to change but Shopto is promising a guarantee for its delivery dates and will compensate you £5 if the game doesn’t arrive on the specified date.
This creates even stronger confirmation of March 21st being the day but as of now, Ubisoft has yet to offer any final confirmation. Stay tuned for more details as we await Ubisoft’s announcement.
