An online retailer – yes, another one – has put up a definitive release date for Watch Dogs. According to Portuguese retail site Fnac, the open world title is set to release on April 30th. Though Ubisoft broke its silence on the game after a fraudulent filing for abandoning the principal trademark was discovered, they have yet to comment on this supposed release date.
Interestingly, Fnac lists April 30th as the expected delivery date, which means it could be shipped out sooner than that. Ubisoft did say that Watch Dogs would be out in the Spring, but that could mean any time from March to May.
Watch Dogs was originally to release in November 2013 to coincide with the launch of the PS4 and Xbox One, but following issues with overall polish, Ubisoft delayed the game. It’s still slated for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC, though there’s been some doubt regarding the Wii U version. Stay tuned for more.
