Ubisoft has finally broken its silence on the release date for Watch Dogs during its latest financial report on the past three months. They indicated that gamers will be able to partake of the game between April and June, which fits into the first quarter of the new fiscal year.
The developer also confirmed that the Wii U version has been delayed. This was done in order “to focus the team’s resources where they could have the broadest possible benefit for both our customers and Ubisoft” according to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot.
So the Wii U version will be out at a later time. Watch Dogs will also be releasing on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 but as of now, your guess is as good as any as to when exactly that will be. Rumours and retail listings have pegged it as arriving by April. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
