Watch Dogs: Ubisoft Romania “Fully Focused” on Wii U Version

After helping to ship other versions, the dev team is now to developing the Wii U version.

Watch Dogs will be out this May for home consoles and PC but is currently delayed for the Wii U. Development is back on though, as creative director Jonathan Morin indicated that Ubisoft Romania (which is developing the Wii U version) was previously busy helping to ship for other platforms.

“We wanted to finish all the platforms that we are currently shipping. We needed those guys to get [the shipping versions] finished.

“The good news now is that they’re all fully focused on the Wii U version, making sure it gets the attention it deserves to make it the best version it can be.”

Watch Dogs will be releasing on May 27th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC after being delayed from November 2013. Will it live up to expectations? Will the Wii U version really come out later this year? Let us know what you think in the comments.
