Weird West Has Gone Gold

WolfEye Studios confirms that its upcoming immersive sim action RPG Weird West has wrapped up development.

WolfEye Studios’ upcoming immersive sim action RPG Weird West has looked like an exciting prospect since the day it was announced, and while some of that is down to the fact that it’s being made by the people that made Dishonored and Prey at Arkane, it also helps that the game itself has looked incredible every time we’ve seen it.

Its release is right around the corner, and ahead of that, WolfEye Studios recently confirmed on Twitter that Weird West has gone gold. That means principle development on the game has wrapped up, and any and all polishing and bug fixes from this point forward will arrive in the form of pre-launch or day one patches (if they do- and they probably will).

Weird West is promising to combine the player agency of isometric CRPGs with the systemic depth of immersive sims, in a setting that has as much of cowboys, outlaws, and sheriffs as it does werewolves, pigmen, and witches.

The game launches on March 31 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and will, of course, also be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S via backward compatibility. It will also be available on Xbox and PC Game Pass at launch.
