We already know that The Witcher 3 is going to be a massive game. But it’s so big that even a developer working on it is not aware about its actual size. Miles Tost who is a Level Designer at CD Projekt has revealed that he has not seen all of what the game has to offer due to its massive size. Responding to a fan query about developers spoiling the game for themselves, Miles stated that this has indeed been the case. “Yes and no. Still stuff even I have never seen (game is THAT big and packed with content). But I know the story & most locations.”
He also assured that the game is looking gorgeous on both the PS4 and Xbox One. For people who are waiting for the PS4 preload of the game, Marcin Momot has revealed that a PS4 pre-load won’t happen this week. With the game only a few days away, it seems that pre-load will happen just a few days before launch.
The Witcher 3 is one of the most beautiful games of this generation. Getting a game that is so big across three different platforms must have been a massive undertaking. Damien Monnier from CD Projekt believes that it’s all due to the “tech art and engine renderer wizards and wizardesses” at CD Projekt.
The Witcher 3 launches on May 19th on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
@faizan810 It's really cool to see it all come together (locations, gameplay, music, etc). Quite magical, actually. 🙂
