Unless you are living under a rock, photo mode allows you to take in-game screenshots by applying all kind of different filters and camera angles. Several games like DriveClub and The Last of Us utilized this feature resulting into some awesome photos. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a beautiful game so it’s only obvious that it should support a photo mode sometime in the future, right?
Apparently there are no plans for the same. CD Projekt’s Marcin Momot has confirmed that although he likes taking screenshots every minute, there are no plans to have this feature at the moment. So if you are planning to capture some photos with added filtering and awesome effects, you would need to do all the custom editing yourself.
Also it seems that there are players who although play their games on the PC but use the PS4’s DualShock 4 instead. For those wondering whether the corresponding button icons can be changed, worry not as CD Projekt is planning to implement this. Honestly, this is something that they can put on a back burner or ignore it, but this is CDPR we are talking about.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available now and our initial technical impressions are already up. Our full review and face off will be live soon.
@Stakoman It is. I keep taking screenshots every few minutes when I play it:D Sadly, no plans for photo mode at the moment.

@Jackymaol @Bacon_is_life Not at the moment. We are looking to implement the full support in the future though.
