Wolfenstein: Youngblood – and the upcoming VR title Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot – recently wrapped up development and are merely days away from release. If you’re among the people who’ll be jumping straight into the co-op shooter on the day of launch itself, you’ll want to get the game pre-loaded on your platform of choice- and the pre-load times for all platforms have now been revealed.
PC and Xbox One players will get access to the pre-load first, on July 23, with PC players getting access at 1 PM ET, and Xbox One pre-loads going up at 8 AM ET. PS4 players, meanwhile, can pre-load the game 48 hours before it releases as per your local time. While PS4 and Xbox One players get access to the game itself at midnight local time on the day of the game’s launch, PC players will be able to play it at 1 PM ET on July 25.
As far as pre-loads are concerned, the Nintendo Switch is ahead of the curve with pre-loads for the game on the system already having gone live. With that, we also know the file size on the platform. While on PC the game is about 40 GB (and roughly the same on PS4 and Xbox One), on the Switch, it’s 20.6 GB large (which is more or less the same size as Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus’ Switch release).
Wolfenstein: Youngblood launches on July 26 for the aforementioned platforms. Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot launches on the same day for PSVR and HTC Vive.
